Avnet Technology Solutions has revealed that its professional services and technical resources are now part of the HP ServiceONE program in the U.S. and Canada. Claiming as the first HP ServiceONE distributor, Avnet enables HP enterprise partners to enhance their services offerings by leveraging its Data Center Lifecycle Services while capitalizing on HP incentive programs. Its professional services offerings for HP enterprise partners include HP ProLiant servers and HP 3PAR storage, and will be focused on data center solutions for deployment, education, installation, integration and technical services, added the company.

Avnet has more than 20 resources to deliver services as an HP ServiceONE partner, and more than 80 services offerings, which are specifically designed to be sold through partners in the U.S. and Canada, the company noted. These services are complete offerings that can be quickly and easily integrated into data center solutions being developed by partners and are designed to augment partners' existing services capabilities. They focus on consultation, planning, assessments, deployment, installation and start up, break/fix and staff augmentation. Partners can also access Avnet's dedicated team of regionally-based services development managers. These dedicated services experts work with partners throughout the sales process and help them close services opportunities. Additionally, Avnet's HP team will help partners identify ways to maximize HP ServiceONE program features and benefits to become even more profitable.

In addition to supporting HP ProLiant server and HP 3PAR storage solutions, Avnet professional services offerings can be leveraged to help partners capitalize on cloud-related opportunities. These services include cloud strategy workshops´┐Żan interactive, billable discovery process led by an Avnet solution architect to enable partners and their customers to create a shared cloud vision and approach; and cloud assessment services´┐Żon-site professional services engagements that include business and technical analysis of the customer's organizational readiness for adopting a cloud computing strategy.
