Multitest's Mercury delivers reliable first pass yields

Multitest, one of the leading manufacturers of test equipment for semiconductors, has announced that its Mercury contactor has passed a thorough BGA test evaluation at an international IDM and is now listed among qualified contactors for all business units. Based on the Quad Tech concept, the company's Mercury demonstrated the highest first pass yield and longest probe life due to its superior mechanical and electrical performance.

The focus of the BGA test evaluation was to find a highly cost-efficient contacting solution that delivers consistent and reliable first pass yields. For best cost of test, a long probe life has to be ensured. The Mercury is a product of Multitest's Contactors division. The St. Paul, Minnesota location is 100 percent dedicated to contacting solutions.
