P-ch MOSFETs for charging circuits of mobile devices

Toshiba Corp. has introduced P-ch MOSFETs for switches of high-current charging circuit switches of mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, notebooks, digital cameras and digital video cameras. According to the company, the SSM6J505NU and SSM6J216FE significantly increase charging current to cut charge times.

The devices claim to feature low ON-resistance and low capacitance. In addition, the devices are available in high-power dissipation packages.
