Molex product shoppers can now download the Molex industrial communications app from the App or iTunes store into their iPad, iPod and iPhone 4, 5 and 5s devices. Available for gadgets with iOS 5.0 or more recent operating systems, the Molex IC App provides direct access to industrial communication product datasheets for customers, distribution partners and design engineers working on automation projects.

Features of the Molex IC App include informative product videos and a selection of PAC/PLC or PC-based interface modules, DeviceNet diagnostic tools, control system simulation software, IO blocks, Ethernet switches and software stacks all based on legacy and leading technology protocols used in industrial applications. A low memory requirement and recognisable Molex-IC icon allows for ready access to IC-centric technical information, a Molex product catalogue and global contact information.
