Power Integrations has debuted the latest entry to its LYTSwitch family of ICs. The LYTSwitch-0 ICs offers a combination of simplicity, reliability and efficiency and are designed for use in cost-sensitive, non-isolated, non-dimmable GU10 bulbs and other space-constrained bulb apps.

The company's latest IC features efficiencies of more than 90 per cent, constant current with better than ±5 per cent regulation in typical apps. It also boasts a power factor > 0.8 at 115VAC and 0.55 at 230VAC. It meets both ENERGYSTAR V1 draft 3 standards and Ecodesign Directive LOT 19 part 2.
