SMD crystal with up to 125MHz frequency aids circuit designs

Petermann-Technik announced the availability of the SMD02502/4 MINI-SMD crystal, which is applicable to designs in the wireless, telecommunication, and medical industries. Available in a 2.5mm x 2.0mm (4pad) ceramic casing, the SMD02502/4 operates at 12MHz to 125MHz frequency.

This MINI-SMD crystal offers a frequency tolerance of ±10ppm and a temperature stability from ±8ppm. The user can choose from ageing rates of ±1ppm to ±3ppm/year, which means that the frequency tolerances, as well as narrowband and broadband wireless applications, can be realised. The crystals, which can be easily configured with a Pierce oscillator (with two external capacities to GND), can also replace high-frequency third overtone crystals and high-frequency crystal oscillators depending on the IC being used.
