Linear Tech unveils power system manager

Linear Technology has released its power system management solutions that has the capability to measure and manage power. The four-channel PMBus power system manager LTC2975 claims to offer accurate input current and energy measurement, while the LTM4676 dual 13A uModule regulator can manage output, current protection and more.

Both can be paired with a graphic user interface for control and monitoring.

In this demonstration, the solutions are used to judge a contest, measuring the power produced when attendees turn a hand crank as fast as they can.
