CNC Router

Check out this little CNC router (Sunwin CNC 3040 Router Milling Engraving Machine Wood Metal Carving+4th Axis 50mm Chuck), available from Amazon for $1,649. A computer-controlled router is going to really boost your capabilities. It's like a power-up for engineers and makers. Use it to engrave parts. Cut out double sided PCBs from copper clad boards. Cut bezels for displays. Cut bezels for everything else like switches, LEDs and keypads. Make engraved placards for all doors and drawers. Make friendly nickname-plates for your co-workers (but be careful... no bullying or embarrassing names allowed. On second thought, skip the nameplates.)

The included 4th axis gives you the capability to cut along the circumference of round objects.

Sunwin is a Chinese company that makes CNC products.
